Install Steam. Store Page. Fallout 4 Store Page. Global Achievements. Hello world! I have been having an issue with my version for fallout 4 for a little while now; it doesnt register new mods. It wasnt an issue until I decided to move the game to my portable hardrive so I could take it overseas with me. After doing this, I discovered I could not add new mods to the game at all. You can also select the order they are loaded in by pressing Y to bring up the order menu, then X to change the order.
Some mods need to load in a certain order for them to work , so carefully read each mod you download. It is important to note that you can only have 2 GB worth of mods loaded at 1 time , so pay attention to how much space you have left.
The good news is that most of the mods don't take up a lot of space, so you shouldn't have to worry too much unless you're trying to download everything. Remember these are 3rd party mods and Bethesda does not create any of them. Your opinion is baseless. Then consider that Beth changed the entire theme of the weapons in this game, but couldn't decide if they wanted to stick with industrial or golden age of tomorrow.
Most of them are rather weighty in the file size category. C Bethesda changes the lore in literally every game in a series.
Tl;dr: You have no clue what you're talking about, which isn't very lore friendly. Switch FC LexiconHuka posted I don't see what the big deal about "Lore Friendly" stuff is. I'd rather have something that's fun over "lore friendly" crap any day.
User Info: Talon I think what he was thinking of when he said lore friendly was mods that use textures, sounds, or other files that are already present in the game. Naturally, the mods that have their own textures are larger.
As far as weapon mods go, they're also far superior, at least in my opinion. I know I'll never get rid of the Modular Simonov mod, even if I stop using the rifles, because I love the The game does appear to require a certain amount of free space in the mod download allowance. I'm running into this issue more and more, as I collect mods I'm not willing to give up. In choosing mods to get rid of, choose the ones that you depend on the least.
If you have to, start with the mods that you absolutely can't do without, then work your way back. There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that know binary, and those that don't. Talon posted
